Cocka-doodle-doo!

Hi there! I am posting a card just for fun today!  This is a cutie stamp I received from Magnolia-licious called Tilda With Cockadoodledoo from the Animals of the Year collection.

First I ink my stamp with my black stazon and then stamped on some scrap once so that the second generation would be much lighter, then stamped on my cardstock.  I colored her with my Inktense pencils.  I was so happy to use my Maja Designs papers with the rooster on them and to boot I love the colors!!!!

You can see I added some die cuts like the Doohickey Lovely Fence and Vintage Tag and then the piece behind the flowers is a Memory Box Die called Trellis Border.  I thought it looked a bit like chicken wire.

I hope you like my card! Thank you again for stopping by!

Have a great afternoon everyone!

Another LOTV Sneak Peek!

Hey there! I have another sweet LOTV Sneak Peek to share with you today.  This little cutie will be out with the Halloween stamp midday today!!

I colored them with distress inks and used a little stickles on the fire and the sparkler.  My papers are from the LOTV paper pad - Country Gent.  I used a Memory Box die called Sofia Heart and the pretty hand dyed vintage seam binding is from a dear friend. The sentiment is Vintage Sentiments - Just To Say.

Keep checking my teammates blogs (listed on the side) for more sneak peeks!!

Thank you again for taking the time to stop by my blog!

NEW!! LOTV Sneak Peek!

Alrighty folks! You have been asking for Halloween stamps for a while now and LOTV has it!!!! Looky here at this super cute stamp! These stamps will be released soon.

So sweet and innocent, like all Lili of the Valley Stamps!

I colored this one with distress inks and used the papers pads Father Knows Best and Snow Princess!  The tag is from the Christmas Sentiment Tags and I used the blank one.  In order to get the checkered pattern around the edge, I used striped black and white paper and just allowed a little bit to show around the edges, kinda Mary Englebright looking huh?

Well, the design team will be sharing more soon for the next release and let me tell ya, you won't be disappointed, these are adorable!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!  Have a wonderful day!

Magnolia-licious Fall Hop!

Hey there! Boy, do we have a fun hop for you today!!!! Most of the design team are joining in for a super fun Fall themed hop.  If you are going in order you should have come from Suzi's blog.

I decided to make a Fall wall hanging using the adorable Wee Stamps, Lomasi and Wynanet.  Aren't they just the cutest little girls?!!!

Do you see the amazing hand colored vintage seam binding my sweet friend sent me? LOVE!!!!!

I have used the Vintage Tag Doohickey for the sentiment and when I added the "Count Your Blessing", that is when I decided to add the photos along the bottom. I even had to add Rambo since he is such a big part of our family haha!

I used the frame card pattern found here.  I always refer to her blog because she did such a great job with her tutorial haha! So I made two "frames" and just inserted the cute Wee images in each one and decorated.  My images are colored with a combination of Inktense and Distress inks.  I used Maja Design papers and the leaves were punched with an old punch I have and I used the Tim Holtz technique of spritzing water over distress ink colors and dipping it in that.  My friend Elise recently made a gorgeous poinsettia using the same technique.

Please see below the list of design team members participating in the hop.  I know you will be inspired for the rest of the week!!!

Dena (you are here)

Now it's time for you to move on the the very talented Barbara!
Thank you for joining in our blog hop!  Have a wonderful day!

Believe in Your Dreams

Woo Hoo! I made the cover on the latest PaperCraft Inspirations magazine!  This is not the actual card on the cover but one of the others on the feature.  I haven't received my copy yet, but I can't wait to look through it and see all the ideas!

This is Annabel Music to My Ears from Lili of the Valley.  All the Annabel little girls are so stinkin cute!!!!!

I made a card with a large tag on the inside. I colored her with my Inktense again and the papers are Maja Designs! I used the Vintage Labels - Just to Say on the outside and Quotables - Go For It on the inside.

As I was making the card, I was thinking of my son Wade whose band has been signed with a record label and they are about to release the album.  I have unsettling feelings about all of it even though I know it is his dream.  We will see how it all goes.  I just need him to concentrate on finishing college.

Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog today! I truly appreciate all of you!

Big hugs and have a most wonderful day!

Pink Lemonade Tilda

Well, hello there! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

My new card is for the Magnolia-licious Challenge - Frilly, Lacy and Feminine! Go ahead and break out your lace and sparkly items for this one.

I used the Pink Lemonade Tilda from the Pink Lemonade collection.  I thought she was adorable!  I colored her with Intense Pencils as usual.

Here's a little close-up of Tilda.  I really like the yellow and pinkish color together so I had to use the new papers from Maja Designs that I got from Live and Love Crafts.  I have added all sorts of fun girly frilly items to my card like the pink seam binding and the sparkly button I got from The Ribbon Girl.  The die underneath the flowers is a Memory Box die called Fauntleroy Crest.  Magnolia-licious has tons of these pretty dies and she just added a bunch more!! Go check it out.

Check out the NEW stock of Memory Box, Marianne Design and Tattered Lace Dies carried in the store. Pre-order yours now; these have been reduced by 25%.

The theme for this new kit is OH LA-LA!

I hope you will join our challenge this time around.  Be sure to go see all the wonderful samples from my talented teammates!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Hugs, Dena
