Another Birthday Card!

Hey ladies, it seems I just have so many friends with January birthdays, so here is another card I made for one of them.  Hope you like it!

The stamp is called Coffee Break from Lili of the Valley.

My goodness I don't know what is going on with my blurry photography these days, so sorry!  Gotta get back into the swing of things again haha!

Have a great day!

For A Dear Friend

Hi there!  I'm back with a card I made for a very dear friend recently for her birthday!  It took her having a birthday to get me to make another card haha!  I had a great time though getting my things back out to play a little.

I used the adorable Lili of the Valley Little Fairies for this card.  (Sorry for the blurry photos)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a great day!

Hey Little Birdie

Hello there!  Everyone ready for Christmas?  Seems like it comes around so fast even though all the retail merchandisers put stuff out before Halloween haha!  I figured I better hurry and show you guys this card I made before Christmas passes me by.

I used this Sugar Nellie stamp called Hey Little Birdie.  These are just the sweetest!  I left it pretty simple and threw on a couple new dies I got from CC Designs when they were on sale.

She is colored with distress inks and there is a bit of Frantage around the image.  Nothing fancy, but she is just the cutest (ok I know I say that about all my stamps haha).

Have a blessed day and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Thank you all for such a warm welcome back to my crafting.  Reading your comments just made me so happy.

I went ahead and made another with the super duper cute Wee Stamp, Lullaby.  OMG! Isn't it adorable? I was so excited to see Sylvia selling her digital stamps again!

I'm not sure she was intended to be a Christmas stamp, but gosh, she is cute anyhow!

Thank you so very much for your encouraging words!

Have a fantastic day!

Well Hellooooo!!!!

Hello, everyone! It has been almost a year since I have posted anything.  That was one long break! I have missed chatting with my crafty friends.  Life has been good but flying by so fast!

I started getting the urge to craft and then when I saw this darling little digi at Sugar Nellie, I knew it was time to sit and try to color again; she is called Elf Made Magic.  I decided to color this image in the exact colors that the artist used because I loved them so much!  She would look so cute in pastels as well and we all know I can never get enough of "cute".

Here is the recipe I used for this card:

Stamps:  Sugar Nellie - Elf Made Magic & Lili of the Valley
Inks:  Inktense and Distress Inks
Papers:  Maja Design
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts

The super pretty doily die is a gift from a dear friend and I am so sorry that I am just now using it!  It is by Prima.

I hope everyone is doing well and that I can get back to visiting with you!

Happy Crafting,

Magnolia-licious Tuesday Challenge!

Well hello there! How are you all?  We are getting lots of rain today because a cool front is coming in! Wow! Our weather surely can't make up it's mind.  I am in shorts one day and ski clothes the next! haha!!

I am sharing my Magnolia-licious card for the Tuesday Challenge "ANYTHING GOES".  This will be my last card for the Magnolia-licious team I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the team and working with the adorable Magnolias and the fantastic team members, but it is now time for me to take a crafting break from all design teams, yes, including my beloved Lili of the Valley.  I hope to get around to the occasional card, but it just will be when I have free time, so please do keep checking back and say "hello".

I think we all go through those times when we just need to go a different direction.  I am going to start volunteering for a Hospice group and want to dedicate my time that way.  I have always volunteered in the community in one way or another but this one will be very special to me.  I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping those at the end of their life make a smooth transition. Some may not even have family to visit, so someone needs to be there for them!

So without further ado here is my project for the challenge.  I have made an ornament with the super cute new minis from the latest Christmas collection, Waiting for Christmas!

I colored mini Little Cute Tilda and mini Snowy Branch  with distress inks and used my cricut to cut the tags.  I have a piece of cardboard sandwiched between the cardstock pieces.  My sentiment is from Lili of the Valley - Christmas Wishes.

This will be the last challenge of the year so that the DT can spend some quality time with family and friends during the upcoming Holiday Season.  Our challenge will run until Jan. 12. That gives you 6 weeks to create some fabulous cards/projects for a chance to win a prize form Magnolia-licious.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT’s blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during the “W”ednesday post.

I hope you will join our challenge!

Big hugs,

Birthday Card For My Daughter!

Hello, I hope everyone is not too stuffed from Thanksgiving! We had a little crowd at our house and lots of wonderful food! We had an extra kitty (my grandkitty) and 2 extra pups, it was a bit like a zoo haha!  Now it's time to get all the Christmas decorations up and ready for everyone coming back over for Christmas and we'll do it all over again haha!!! I am very thankful for the family that I have though.

My daughter had her birthday on Nov. 20th and turned 25!!! Yes, you heard me right, she is a quarter of a century, as I like to tease her haha!

I had bought this cute CC Designs stamp when she graduated from nursing school and now she will be getting variations of this card all the time now that I have the stamp haha!  So here is her birthday card!

Hee hee, isn't she a cutie!?  As I have said before she works in the cardiac ICU unit of St. Lukes at our Medical Center.  They wear turquoise blue scrubs on her unit, so I colored her to that effect.  I colored her with distress inks and used the Pastel Dreams paper pad from LOTV.

Here's a picture of my grandkitty.  This is Wade and his girlfriend's kitty.  She was having a ball, literally,  as I decorated the Christmas tree!  I will have to put the finishing touches on when she leaves because I don't want her playing with the really old glass ornaments from my Grandmaw haha!

Have a wonderful day you guys and give your kiddos a squeeze just because!!!!!!!

Hugs, Dena
