Disco Diva

Hey friends!  Don't we all have one of those fun, funky friends in our lives?  Well, I have a friend who is all about the 70's and the music.  This cute new stamp from Lili of the Valley - Disco Diva is perfect for her.   The black circle is supposed to be an album, but I'm not so sure it worked out all that well haha.  I could no resist giving her a disco ball to dance with too!

This range of stamps are called "Fashion Through the Decades" and is set to be launched on April 3.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Spring Is Near!

Hiya!  There are signs of Spring all over Houston, Texas!  I am absolutely loving this weather which makes me want to make pretty Spring cards! haha!

This new cutie is called "Easter Tricks".  It comes in digi or rubber.  What a perfect little image for Easter right?

These papers are super old from Imaginisce.  I am using them until every last bit is gone.  I added some glitter here and there but it is not really showing up on the picture.  I colored with distress inks.

We are having the most amazing weather right now, so I am off to go soak it up!

Have a great day and thanks so much for visiting!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hey, hey!  I don't usually celebrate St. Patrick's Day but what the heck!  I couldn't resist playing with one of the new Spring cuties from Lili of the Valley.

This new stamp is called Lucky Mouse and I used the digi version.  I am so addicted to digis haha! Love being able to make them a size that I like.  The sentiment is also LOTV - Vintage Sentiments Occasions.

My papers are Maja Designs and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have fun celebrating St. Patty's Day!

Possibly a New Favorite Stamp!

Oh my!!! Did you all see the new stamps from Lili of the Valley?  I am loving them!!!  So this new little duckie may be my new favorite, it is called "A Cart Full of Sunshine".  Seriously, it could be such a cute Mother Goose card for a baby or just a bringing you sunshine type of card.

I had to pull out the most colorful, spring-y papers I could find. These papers are ancient! They are called We R Memory Keepers - Color Me Plaid.  Perfect for Spring!

The doily die is one from Prima that I just bought, but good golly it was hard to cut out.  I cut it in half and put on half on top and bottom.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts of course!

One more look at the super cute image!!  EEK!
 Gotta run!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Something Different

Hello! Today I am sharing something a little different than my normal card.  I have been oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over the beautiful vintage style cards I have been seeing.  My friend Elise is the Queen of these types of cards and also my friend Bev.    I found an amazing lady named Lady E (Emilia) that has done several videos on Youtube.  I find it so very sweet of people to take the time to make these videos and share with us crafters.  Anyhow, this is what transpired after I watched her amazing videos.

I bought the cute wooden bird from Michaels and painted it white. They had quite a nice selection of these laser cut pieces.  I love the Prima die that a friend bought me.  I added my flowers from Wild Orchid crafts

I really enjoyed making this card and hope to do some more real soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Happy Crafting!
