Simon Says: Shabby
Double Dutch: Sketch
Creative Card Crew: Distressing
Oh this was a terrific sketch. The only problem is you can't see the pretty papers. I always cover them up! The bottom one is my favorite from the K & Co. Ancestry line. I have added some music notes paper to go along with the piano too, but you just can't see it very well. ha ha!
I embossed in some of the corners gold swirls. I used gold liquid pearls here and there and used some gold glimmer mist on her bow and lace and all the flowers. All edges are distress with Vintage Photo and Walnut ink. Oh and I can't forget she has rhinestone earrings. I am currently waiting on some gold stickles to come in, boy that would have come in handy for this card, just to add that extra sparkle. Oh well, I will add it when it gets here. You may have to click on the photo to enlarge it to see some of these details.
Well, thank you so much for your support! You guys are the best!
Hugs, Dena
I certainly have no problem if you're late for the challenges - no matter what inspired this GORGEOUS creation it would be worth the wait! This is just FABULOUS!!!

Hi Dena
ReplyDeleteYour card is fantastic. Lovely work as always.
You always manage to add so much detail and interest to your work without it looking "over crowded or over worked". A very rare quality but clearly one you have. (You lucky so and so!!).
Lots of inspiration here.
By the way porridge is made from rolled oats. I simmer them in milk for about 6 minutes then sprinkle with sugar. Sounds awful and it isn't to everyone's taste but I love it. Especially on winter mornings. Good for the inside and keeps you full until lunchtime!!
Take care Dena
Love Jules xx
