SOLD!
Today my card is being entered into Just Magnolia with the LOVE them and Sketch Saturday had a super sketch!
After oohing and aweing over Bev's and Jacqui's cards using Nitwits, I broke down and had to go buy them! This one is called Butterfly Kisses Too. I love how feminine they are and such pretty colors.
I colored my cute Tilda's dress with my NEW Tim Holtz Distress inks that my friend Andie sent me for my birthday. Now ain't she sweet?!!!! The color is Spun Sugar and it is a great pink. She bought them from Simon Says, they have the whole new collection right now.
I saw a fantastic idea on April's blog using the border punches in a circle or oval shape, she then pointed us to Norma's blog where she did a FANTASTIC tutorial. I just love clever ideas and more ways to use my tools. I used the MS Doily punch that can be bought from Simon Says. The design is a little long so it folded over on itself just a bit, but I think that just adds to the character. tee hee! Here is a closeup:
Now isn't that clever? Thanks for showing us April and Norma.
I used tulle in the flower bunch and roped pearls. The leaves are a bosskut design. The "love postage" is from Cuddlebug. I stickled her bow and the flowers for interest.
Whew! I feel like I just wrote a book!
Thanks for coming by my blog and saying "Hello"!
Hugs, Dena
