GIFT!
I have been wanting to make a frame card for a long time and then when I saw the Whiff of Joy tutorial on the aperature with the easel I thought I would combine the frame and the easel. I really like how it turned out! I think I will send this to someone very special! The instructions for the frame card are HERE.
For those of you who know the CTMH older colors, this is Key Lime and Lilac Mist. Oh I LOVE these colors together!!!!! I used the new Easter background which a very sweet friend sent me along with this cute little Tilda called Tilda with Eggs in Apron. I know Simon Says has these in stock right now. The sentiment is computer generated and the shape is from a Nestie. I used my MS border punch along the bottom and the retro punch for all the little flowers with Pink Liquid Pearl in the center. Lots of stickles all over the flowers and wa la!
I love the dimension with the background. I had to use a square behind Tilda to hold her up like when you do pop up cards. It worked like a charm. I did faux stitching all around the gingham. I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Magnolia Down Under - Faux or Real Stitching
Everybody Art Challenge - Easter
Cute Card Thursday - Dimensions
Ok, that's about it I think! Hope you like it! Thanks you so much for stopping by!
Don't forget to enter into the candy giveaway on the post before. I will be drawing names soon!
Hugs, Dena
