Okie dokie ladies it's time for the next Just Magnolia challenge. Did you see that our challenge was listed as #5 on the Top 20 UK Craft Challenge blogs? How super cool is that!? Our challenge for this week is:
It Takes Two - Using two Magnolia images on a card excluding word stamps
Let me tell you a little bit about my card. First, for the little flower cluster I totally snagged an idea from Tab. She puts these little paper flowers under her roses and it just seems to add that something extra. Thanks Tab for the idea!!! I would also like to point out that I recently won a challenge over at Magnolia Down Under and received the most amazing little package from Bizzy Bec's. She sent these little pearl sprays in the package and I used those also in the flower cluster. Thank you so much Magnolia Down Under and Bec!!!
I used that same technique again with the border punch. It works so well! It is my current fav techniques and here is the tutorial by Norma if you haven't seen it yet.
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Magnolia- Tilda's Swing and Dinner Tilda
Inks: Distressed Inks
Papers: MME Home collection
Tools: Fiskars Sunburst border punch, MS Branch Punch, Cuddlebug folder Swiss Dots, butterfly punch
Embellies: Flatbacked pearls, pearl spray, Flowers from Wild Orchid, ribbon, stickles
Thanks for looking and I hope you will join our challenge this week! It was so fun combining images!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs, Dena
