Colour Create - Pink and Blue

This week's Colour Create Challenge is PINK & BLUE with the extra option of something soft.  Our sponsor is Michelle's Scrapbooking.

Card Ingredients:

Stamps:  Lili of the Valley
Inks:  Distressed Inks on Watercolor Paper
Paper:  Melissa Frances
Tools:  MS Double Loop Punch, Nestie
Embellies:  Flatbacked pearls, ribbon, flowers from Wild Orchid, Magnolia Chandelier Stems-Pink, White liquid pearls, Stardust stickles

I used the sketch over at Lily of the Valley Challenge and so I will be entering it there.

I tried a thousand ways to take a good picture of this card, and it just didn't work.  I like it so much better in real life.  The colors show up so much better on the top part and you can't even see my stickles.

I was beyond excited to use my new goodies I got from Simon Says Stamp.  These Magnolia Chandelier stems are beautiful!!! I used the Liquid Pearls I got on her buttons.  Oh such little things get me excited!

It was almost a 100 degrees yesterday! Very hot! I hope everyone is getting wonderful weather wherever you are.

Thanks for stopping by!  I appreciate your sweet comments and read them all!

Be back tomorrow with a card for Just Magnolia.

Hugs, Dena

  6. This card is absolutely stunning Dena. I have her lying on my craftdesk waiting to be placed on a card - roll on weekend!!! Isn't she adorable? Our weather is the opposite as we're in Autumn, you'd swear Winter was already here. We're enjoying the lovely warm soups with crusty home made bread, etc. so yes, life is pretty good on the other side of the world right now. Take care, hugs Sharon
