Boy, you guys are loving the Wild Orchids Challenge huh? We have really enjoyed looking at all the gorgeous entries for the lace challenge. This time the theme is:
ONE FOR THE GIRLS
I chose to use this little cutie for Lily of the Valley called Tea Party. My papers are K & Co. and I colored everything with distressed inks. I even decided to make an easel!
35 mm Sweet Classic Rose
20 mm Rose
10 mm Rose
Guipure White Lace
5 mm Pearls
I did have to color my flowers to give them an aged look. I used a VERY diluted Walnut for the smaller roses and a mixture of Worn Lipstick and a touch of Walnut for the large flower. I hit the tops with Walnut with a sponge and then stickled them to pieces! I used a EK Success punch for the leaves and threw in a few MS Pine Branch punches.
Dress: Spun Sugar and Aged Mahogany
Socks and Linen: Weathered Wood
Hat: Brushed Corduroy and Walnut
Hair: Antique Linen and Walnut
Distressing around edges: Vintage Photo
I hope you will join our challenge this time around. This is a fun one again!!! Also, be sure to visit the Wild Orchids Crafts store. They are so many beautiful things!
