Just Magnolia Challenge

Oh my goodness, time is flying by isn't it? I have a Christmas party tonight and then tomorrow is the birthday party for my brother in law.  Still a lot of Christmas shopping to do too.  We need some 48hr days instead of 24! haha!

Since today is Friday, that means Just Magnolia time!!! Woo Hoo!! The theme this week is "A Christmas Card".   I thought it was time to use this little Edwin that looks like he is sitting on a toilet!  He has his reading material in hand too! ha ha! Sorry, but it is true.  I am one of these people, that when I buy something I HAVE to use it and this was in the winter kit, so by golly I am using it even if he does look like he is on the toilet.
He has been combined with a stamp from Hanglar and they are colored in distressed inks.  The paper is Basic Grey and I stitched all around the different pieces.  The poinsettia and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the snowflake is a Marianne D's.  Oh, and the holly leaves are sizzix.  I added some Polar White flower soft and Fun Flock to the trimmings of his suit.

I am about Christmas carded out! How about you?  I have a few more ideas in mind and then I am moving on. haha!  I just had to make sure I had enough to send out to everyone!

Anyhow, thank you again for coming to my little blog and paying me a visit! You are too kind!  I really can't wait to see the Christmas cards you make for our Just Magnolia Challenge.  The DT have some great ideas on the blog to give you inspiration!

Hugs, Dena

I hope your weekend goes well and you get some shopping done. I have NOT got mine done either. I don't even have any furniture or decorations up in my house at all. We just got new carpet through out and finished up yesterday so today the furniture gets to all come back in and then I hope to start decorating for Christmas. hahahaha BOY OH BOY What a BIG JOB!!!
