Peek A Boo Card with LOTV Bears

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new card to show you featuring the adorable new bears at Lili of the Valley.  I am so loving these circle stamps and the smaller companion stamps.  It's so nice to have something a little bit different!!  I had an extremely difficult time photographing this card so bear with me on the pictures.

At first sight it looks like a simple card with holes punched in the front, but then you open it up and..................................................................................................................................



it replaces the front images with two new ones!! You have to see how it is done on the Youtube video that was made HERE!! She calls it a Double Peek A Boo card.  I wish you could see it in real life, it is so FUN!!!!



I added interest to the cardstock on the inside using the LOTV stamps called Cute As A Button.  The Present Trio bears are colored with distress inks.  I used one of the companion stamps to finish off the 4th circle.  He is perfectly sized!!



I was hoping you could see the configuration better from a top view.


So a little bit about this card......It took me FOREVER to get it to work right haha! My circle bears are so much bigger than the image she uses on the video, that it caused me to have to reconstruct with bigger dimensions.  You would think this would be easy, but nooooo! haha! Finally after many, many attempts with typing paper, I got a size that would work with these cute bears.  Below are the dimensions I used.  You should be able to follow along with her video, but use these measurements for a larger circle and only a 12x12 inch paper.

Completed card size:  6" x 4 3/4"
Front piece: 7 1/4" x 6" score at 4 3/4"
Back piece: 6" x 12" score at 3 3/4" and 7 1/2"
Circle size:  1 3/4" across

OH!!! and I would highly recommend NOT doing the last step of putting tape on the back flap!!!!! It didn't allow my paper to go far enough and I had to heat the tape and take it off (what a mess).  Anyhow, other than that, it is a super cute style of card for these bears!!     Clever construction, Dena and beautiful too! I think LOTV need to introduce dies to cut these sentiments. You've clearly cut them beautifully but I find I've always run out of patience by the time I need to put the sentiment on. Hugs, Lesley

    Oh, I can see why you adore these circular stamps so much - they are totally cute! An of course you have colored them tremendously beautiful like only Dena can!
    Stunning papers and an adorable fold. I doubt that I will try it out though, seems to have taken forever for you and you´re such an expert.

    Well Dena, I never heard of a Peek-A-Boo card let alone a double Peek-A-Boo card and now I see this masterpiece. HOLY TOLEDO!!!! the colors are just spectacuar, your coloring OMG you just rock girlfriend, and the design is just over the top drop dead GORGEOUS!!!
