Distress Ink Tutorial Coloring Bears

Hi everyone!  I have receive a lot of emails asking about coloring with distress inks.  I have made one more video coloring an adorable  bear stamp from Lili of the Valley.  I have listed the supplies on the video, so I hope that helps.  If you have any questions, just post in the comments and I will respond on the comments so that everyone can see my answer.

I feel very silly making these, mostly because I sound ridiculous haha, but it is the best way to show coloring techniques in my opinion.

Don't get discouraged if it doesn't look exactly like you want after the first try, just keep on practicing and you will eventually find a look that works for you.

I hope you enjoy the video!  Thanks for watching.  My final card with this image is at the bottom of the post.

Thanks again for watching!

Hugs, Dena

I don't usually leave comments although I visit your blog almost every day, but what a great tutorial Dena. It is absolutely brilliant and you don't sound ridiculous at all. Thank you so much for sharing your great talent with us. I usually use watercolour pencils but I am considering more and more switching to distress inks.
(I love the finished card too, as all the cards you make, it is amazing and very inspiring).
Have a wonderful day,
Laetitia xxx

Jen - I use Stazon ink to stamp with when I use watercolors.

Linda - The brush is 10/0 in the mini Majestic line Filbert, very reasonable. Here are details: http://www.royalbrushstore.com/products/productdetail/R4200T-10/0+-+MINI+MAJESTIC+FILBERT/part_number=R4200T-10/0/201.0.1.1.1217.1005665.1006971.1006195.0?pp=12&

Och super mooi bedankt voor je tutorial Dena.
Ik heb wel een vraag, hoe heet jou kwastje, die je droog gebruikt zeg maar? Ben benieuwd of ik die ook kan kopen in Nederland? Wat denk jij?
Wil je me mailen via mijn blog aub, alvast super bedankt;o)

Warme groetjes,
Anita uit Holland.
