We had a wonderful time at our log cabin. The leaves were not near as pretty as the magazine showed, but they say by Veterans Day they will be out in full color. I have a few pics below in case you want to see.
I have been wanting to play with some Tilda images lately so here is one that I am done with.
I have used the most gorgeous papers sent to me by a very sweet friend. They are Maja Designs Christmas! The vintage colors are right up my alley. I love deep green and burgundy together!!!
I used some glass glitter on the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, but I'm not sure I like how it turned out. Oh well haha!
LOVE the rusty bells!!
I colored Tilda with distress ink as per usual, but the red is colored with the DI Markers. This color is different than my refills and it worked perfectly with the papers! woo hoo! I used a Bildmalarna Cozy Hearth with Tilda. I thought it worked pretty good! You can also see I used my LOTV Grunge Christmas Postmarks.
So here's some pictures from my mini vaca!
Thanks for looking! Have a great day everyone!
Hugs, Dena

I have seen the pictures you've made, lovely, real Autumm. I live in the Netherlands and our woods look the same, there are even some trees that don't have any leaves yet anymore, also in our garden. Can't believe it about your canvases, I think you should give it another ago after your break :), I hope you will anyway.

I like the glass glitter you put on the flowers. It reminds me of winter when ice is on the branches and they tinkle when the wind moves them. I think the flowers look very pretty and holiday-ish. Beautiful card. Love this one. --Gail
