SOLD!
Hello there blogging friends!!! I'm so excited to show you this card!!! Our challenge this week at Simon Says is "Going to the Movies". The design team is using dry embossing on all their cards also. Now, this can be as creative as you like. Can anyone guess what movie my card is?????
One of my all-time favorite movies.....ENCHANTED!!!!!! This is Gizelle walking through Central Park. Get it??? The trees? Ok, I had a blast thinking of this. Then, I thought the MS Punch Garden Trellis looked a bit like a gazebo trim, so I added that. The dress she was wearing was also this color and a very similar style in the movie. Do you think Magnolia knew that? I had to add the little bow to make it like hers. All the images for this card are colored with copics.
For the sentiment I put "Here's hoping you have an enchanted birthday". It is a little blurry on the photo. I have issues taking pictures of easel cards. ha ha!
Of course, there is a lovely prize for 1 lucky winner! I hope you will join in, the more you start working on this kind of card, the more you get into it!! I thought it was great fun and had to go and watch the movie again just for grins.
The design team has some super fun ideas, so be sure to go have a look!!! I know you can pre-order these cute Princess stamps at Simon Says Stamp Superstore.
I hope I may have given you just a little inspiration today!!!
Big hugs, Dena

I have been on holiday for 4 weeks (delayed by Volcanic ash) and then trying to catch up on work and cards and blogs so I'm sorry I haven't been by sooner. I am taking a little ride through your creations now. This one is particularly lovely, Dena! Warmest wishes, Lesley
