Oh there's another wonderful sketch from the talented Bev on the Lily of the Valley Challenge Blog.
Please be sure to stop over and join us this week, there is always a nice prize!!! Also, very soon you will be seeing even more LOTV's being released so stay tuned. You can find them at the Lily of the Valley Store.
For my card today I used some of last year's BasicGrey papers. She has been colored with Distressed inks, mostly Broken China and Spun Sugar, shading with Weathered Wood and Worn Lipstick. I added glitter to the snow and her hat fluff. I used a border punch all the way around the card and then added pearls to the centers of the snowflake centers then used those that were punched out and put them around the oval. Waste not I say! I took apart the gorgeous Wild Orchid white poinsetta and removed the leaves and lighted chalked the edges with pink then added a snowflake to the center and topped it off with a pearl. I used my MS Pine Branch Punch for the leaves. To finish it off I added the pretty cotton lace from Wild Orchid and sewed all the edges.
There's a little closeup of the snowflake and pearls.
So many stamps, so little time!!!! I can't wait to show you some of the new images that will be released soon! Can you say "CUTE"?
So be sure to go have a look at the DT's work. There just might be a sneek peak of some new ones!!!!
Have a wonderful day and don't forget to enter my blog candy!
