Wow! I have been gone a while huh? Did you miss me? haha!
Well, I'm back with a card for the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog. This time it's "Anything But a Square Card".
Our prize is once again donated by Laila and Lisa from Lili of the Valley a very generous £10 voucher to spend on the Website, thanks again Girls xxxx
I decided what a perfect opportunity to use one of the templates from the The Cutting Cafe. I have been eyeing them for a while now.
When I saw this kettle, I immediately knew that was what I wanted to do. It reminded me of my Grandmaw Mamie! She always had a kettle on the stove. She loved pastels and feminine details, so that is where the inspiration came from. I like how it folds at the top and doesn't have to be an easel. I actually enlarged the pattern that was sent to me by 125%. It makes it almost 6", but not quite.
The papers are Papermania - Blueberry Hill and the polka dots are from my stash without a name. The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid Crafts and so is the little pearl heart. I used crystal stems from Wild Orchid for the "water".
My Lili of the Valley image is called "Tea Party" and is colored with copics on Super Smooth Stamping Card that you can find HERE. The lace is from Joann's Crafts.

Also, Colour Create has a new challenge today and the colors were set by the talented Sharon! They are yellow, white, and green. How fresh is that? Here's the inspiration photo.
Thank you for stopping to visit my blog. I hope you get a chance to see all the shaped cards made by the Design Team. They are fantastic!
I'll be back with my Colour Create Card and Just Magnolia DT cards. This post is already a book! haha
Hugs, Dena
