I'm Still Here!

Ha ha! I promise I am still here.  My crafting is a little slow right now, so sorry!  Maybe I can get back in the groove real soon.  I am still adjusting to Wade not being home.  I keep expecting him to come through the door from school, but he really is gone (at least for 4 years) and it is a bit sadder than I expected.  Unlike my daughter, I think we will be lucky to get a phone call once a week!  Oh well, on to my card for today.


It's a new challenge at the Just Magnolia and Hanglar Stanglar Challenge Blog.  It's my sweet friend Donald's turn to choose the theme and she chose BINGO.  I chose charms, flowers buttons for my card!



Card Recipe:

Stamps:  Magnolia - Watercan Tilda
Inks:  Distress Inks
Paper:  Tim Holtz Shabby Vintage
Tools:  MS Frond Punch, Quikutz Photo corner, Magnolia Doohickey Fence
Embellies:  Pink Trellis Rose, 15mm Open Roses, Pink Gypsophilia and silver satin ribbon all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I used the gorgeous sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces! She always has the most amazing sketches!

I sure hope everyone on the East coast keeps themselves safe with the hurricane!

    Your card is truly a work of art that I can just stare at all day. You have added such beautiful and interesting flowers, love that adorable little charm....and your colouring is superb!
    I feel for you, not having your son at home is so hard. It is another stage in our lives, but myself, I don't think I am really looking forward to it. I even hate when the kids go back to school after summer holidays. Call me crazy, but I love them home! Great company!

    Oh Dena! It seems a lot of us Moms are having a really hard time adjusting to your children not being at home with us. lol! I too have felt so empty and lonely without my little boy at home with me and have not been able to craft much. :( argh!

    Well your creations is simply wow wow WOOOOOWWWW! sigh .. I think I'm in love! :) Look at all these GORGEOUS pinks! And then add in your dreamy colouring ... ahhhhhh! I can't say enough about your work .. always takes my breath away!
