Easter Dress!
Here is another digi stamp from Saturated Canary called "Easter Dress". Boy, it just reminds me when I was a kid getting a pretty little Easter dress to wear to church. I have always loved this time of year for many reasons. Because of my faith, it is truly the most special time for me!
I did a few different things to this card. The first being my tie-dyed flowers haha! Don't ya love it? I gave them all a mist of Dusty Concorde, Peeled Paint and Broken China all mixed with some water in a mini misters. Then, I splattered them with white acrylic paint.
The other thing that I like is the bricks. I am so jealous of all the fun toys the mixed media artists are using, but I am still holding on to my "cute" for as long as I can, sooooo.........I used some light modeling paste and added bricks with a stencil in areas of my paper.
My image was colored with Prisma pencils. I really like how they are so easy to blend!
How about this weather we are all having? Wow! My husband called it when it was warm in February. He said it would be cold in March. Talk about cold, it is in the 50's this morning here in Texas. We were laying by the pool last week with 87 degree temps. Well, it keeps us on our toes, you just never know if you will be wearing a swimsuit or a winter jacket from day to day haha! Life is good!
I hope you like my card! I totally enjoyed playing with this adorable image!
Hugs to you all!
Dena
