Roses Bike Ride

Hey there!  I'm not sure who sent this super chilly weather to Texas, but y'all can have it back! haha! It has been beautiful this past weekend, but very cold for me at 58 degrees! I know that is Spring time for some, but I like it a wee bit hotter.

I have made a card today using a super cute stamp from Wee Stamps! Isn't she a doll?  You can also get her in rubber at Whimsy Stamps.

I have had her for a while now and can't believe that I am just now getting around to putting her on a card.  That little straw basket is too cute!

I used some really gorgeous papers from a dear friend in the UK.  It is so hard to cut into some of these papers.  I know we all just want to hang on to them or frame this when we really love them haha!

Card Ingredients:

Stamps: Wee Stamps - Roses Bike Ride
Inks:  Distress Inks
Paper:  Inkido Forever Collection
Tools:  MS Pine Branch Punch, Cricut for the Banners, Magnolia Doohickey
Embellishments:  WOC Flowers, Cameo Button and Metal Corners from Michaels, Ribbon from Stash

    Oh my gosh, oh my gosh Dena!! Okay, first of all, I totally know what you mean about cutting into beautiful papers .. totally sweating from the brow I get. LOL!!! And sheeesh, these papers are GOR-GEOUS!! But it goes so PERFECTLY with your AMAZING card! sigh ... every single thing about this .. I love! From your most INCREDIBLE colouring skills, to that sweet pretty banner, to those metal frames (which I'm using mines so sparingly too since I love them so much .. hehe!) .. wow, this is beyond STUNNING! I love it! :)

    Okay, now you're wanting it to get warmer, and here I am wishing it was colder here. LOL!!! It'll be in the 100's before I know it. ugh. :(

    Hello my dear Texas friend,

    Well, at the moment here in North Central England, it is (going off last night) 32f at night & tomorrow 52f, so cooler than you but not much, its a very cool spring me thinks, lol, so it looks like we are shivering at both sides of the big chilly pond!!
    I adore this card I love the colours as I love deep reds/burgundys.....that paper is beautiful too, it has really taken my eye but I cannot find it online, is it an older collection? love it anyhow, and if I cant find it at least I can look at it here, thanks my friend for showing us your beautiful work! xxx hugs vick

    58F is around 14 centigrade so thats starting to get too hot for me, I am a snow and frost lover and suffer miserably in the summer although we rarely have snow where I live and I have to go and find it!
