Hey girls! I'm back with a Magnolia creation! Don't look all shocked
and everything, but my sweet, sweet friend sent me this and she is
ADORABLE! This is Tripping Tilda with Magnolia papers. I am tempted to
buy some more of the latest collection because they are so darn cute,
but I just don't know if time will permit me to use them haha!
Oh how I love pink and purple together! What a great combo huh?
I
colored her with distress inks this time! I tell ya, it was really fun
coloring her!! I tried creating a viney look with the sweetheart
blossoms and colored the wires brown. If you have seen this paper, I
was going for the same look as that. I used bits of doily in the
corners and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
Thank you for popping by my blog. I sure do appreciate the sweet comments!
Hugs, Dena
This is phenomenal, Dena! If only I could color half as well....WOW!! She is magical and how clever of you to color the wires brown...now that's creativity at work! Beautiful how you incorporated the scene to compliment the papers!

Gorgeous Dena, love the beautiful colours. I know exactly what you mean. I still have some to ink from a few releases ago so I haven't bought any from the last two releases. In fact by the time I get round to inking them they are usually on sale, lol.

This gorgeous Dena, such a beautiful image and wonderfully coloured. Could I ask what cardstock and weight do you use to stamp and watercolour on. I live in the UK and I've been using Daler Rowney Not (Cold Press) 140lb, it great for blending but I find it very thick. I love all your cards and I visit regularly. Love Janine x
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteA stunning card as always Miss Dena, and your colouring is always perfect, whichever medium you are using.
I love pink and I love purple but have never used the two together...though I may well steal this idea from you :)
I have seen some VERY delicious new papers in shades of pink and there may even be a lilac one in the set too!
I have become a little addicted to these stamps, better late than never huh?
Love your sweet little flowers too.
Big hugs
